2011 Hyundai Avante soon to get launched in India

Some unconfirmed news are coming out stating that Hyundai are planning to launch their globally accepted sedan Elantra in the Indian automobile field as Hyundai Avante. Few Years ago, Hyundai India have launched a sedan Elantra, but it was a major flop. This new Hyundai Avante in India looks rich in style, great in it's performance, comfort, features and full value for money.

This new luxurious sedan, Hyundai Avante is powered by a 1591cc, DOHC, CVVT Petrol engine which will provide a maximum power of about 118 Bhp @ 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of about 156 Nm @ 4200 rpm. This new Hyundai Avante will provide a mileage of about 11 kmpl in the cities and about 14 kmpl in the highways. This new Hyundai Avante is also said to achieve a top-speed of about 185 kms in perfect running conditions.

This new Hyundai Avante, a luxurious sedan belonging to the D segment of the Indian automobile field provides Five-speed Manual Gearbox. This new Hyundai Avante includes McPherson Strut Type, Stabiliser Bar Suspension. It also provides a Disk Brake at the front and a Drum Brake at the rear.

This new Hyundai Avante in India is expected to be launched by this June 2011 and might have a price tag of around Rs 11 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Ford's best seller sedan, Ford Focus coming to India

Ford, world's third leading car manufacturer's are now all set to launch their so far best seller, Ford Focus in the ever growing Indian automobile field. The main thing to be noted with this new Ford Focus in India is that it looks almost similar with the Ford's one of the earlier hit model, Ford Ikon.

This new Ford Focus, a good looking sedan in the D segment will have to compete with the likes of Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla Altis. Lamborghini announced the full details of the Sesto Elemento Luxury car which was earlier showcased at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Sporty Car comes powered with a V10 engine that delivers 570hp power with which it offers a top-speed of above 200mph.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is designed to offer better performance than the old Murcielago. This new Sporty Car has an acceleration from 0 to 62mph in just 2.5 seconds. The performance of this Lamborghin Sesto Elemento Car is boosted by reducing its overall weight to just 999kg and designing the front end of the bodywork from just one piece of carbon fiber. The Suspension and exhaust is also made from this Carbon Fiber material.

Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini's CEO has recently said that their new Estoque four door model is getting closer to production and they also have the Sant’Agata in the pipelines as the replacement for the Gallardo, and there is speculation of an entry level Lamborghini which could be called the Cabrera. There has been talk of the Aventador model line to eventually have Super Veloce and Spyder variants.

As per the press release, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be built as a special edition luxury sports car an initally 5-10 will be available. The price of this new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be around $3,500,000.

This new Toyota Etios featured 1496cc, 4 cylinder, in-line Petrol engine with a maximum power of about 89 Bhp @ 5600 rpm and maximum torque of about 132 Nm @ 3000 rpm. Now the latest to hear is that Toyota are planning to launch the diesel variant of this new Toyota Etios by the mid of this year.

This new Toyota Etios Diesel will feature a 1364cc, D-4D Diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 87 Bhp @ 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of about 205 Nm @ 1800 rpm. This new Toyota Etios Diesel will give a mileage of 14 kmpl at the cities and 20 kmpl at the highways irrespective of 12 and 17 kmpl of it's pertol variant. This new Toyota Etios Diesel, just like it's Petrol variant also comes with a 5-Speed Manual Gear transmissions.

Just like it's Petrol variant, this new Toyota Etios Diesel features a McPherson Strut - Torsion Beam Suspension in it. Mahindra Mini-Xylo Hatchback soon to get launched in India

Mahindra is now planning to launch a smaller version of the Xylo, named as Mahindra Mini-Xylo. It should be noted that the mini Xylo uses a shortened version of the present Xylo’s body-on-frame chassis and the engine capacity has been reduced from 2.5-litres to under 1.5-litres by eliminating one cylinder and reducing the bore and stroke.

This new Mahindra Mini-Xylo, a new Hatchback vehicle in the B+ segment, features a 1498cc, 3 cylinder Diesel engine. The maximum power as well as the maximum torque that can be generated by this new Diesel engine is yet to get revealed by the officials. The mini Xylo will only have two rows of seats and hence a maximum seating capacity for five passengers.

This new Mahindra Mini-Xylo with a 5-Speed Manual transmission will feature Independent Coil Springs as well as Multi Link Coil Springs Suspensions in it. This new Mahindra hatchback will also feature Front Disk Brake and Rear Drum Brake. The other notable point is that since this new Mini-Xylo is less than four metres, it will avail the 12 percent duty cut as well.

Maruti is now all set to launch the Diesel variant of their much popular sedan, Maruti SX4 by this week itself. This new sedan, which belongs to the C+ segment in the Indian automobile field has been competing so far with the likes of Honda City and now with the Diesel variant being launched, this brand is expected to reach more heights than it is in now.

The most important thing to be noted with this Maruti SX4 is that it's new Diesel variant will be powered by the same 1.3 litre multijet engine which powers the Linea and Manza. This new Maruti SX4 Diesel features a 1248cc, Quadrajet Diesel engine, which will develop a maximum power of about 89 Bhp @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of about 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm.

This new Maruti SX4 Diesel is expected to have almost all the features that were available in the Petrol variant and even some new features may get added with the existing ones. New Maruti SX4 Diesel, a 5-speed Manual Transmission sedan is expected to have a mileage of around 14.00 kmpl in the cities and around 18.00 kmpl in the highways. This new sedan is also expected to have a top-speed of around 185 km/hr.

This new sedan, Maruti SX4 Diesel is expected to be priced around Rs 9 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

2011 Mercedes R class in India - Specifications, Reviews and Prices

Mercedes, one of the world's largest luxury car manufacturer have launched a new kind of Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) that offers space and comfort of an MPV coupled with refinement and driving dynamics of a saloon car. This new vehicle, named as Mercedes R class in India is going to be the only car in this segment and has ample opportunity to carve out a niche for itself.

This new Mercedes R class features a 3498cc V6 petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 272bhp at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of about 35.7Nm at 2400rpm. It does the 0-100 sprint in 8.4 seconds and has a top speed of 230kph. Nothing yet is decided about the diesel variant of Mercedes R class for the Indian market.

This new Mercedes R class, which is an all-wheel-drive automatic, comes with Mercedes' latest generation 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. It has the shift paddles placed on the steering wheel while a Direct Select lever is on the steering column. This new MPV, which can seat upto seven people has redone front grille, headlights, bonnet and wings in it.

Some of the notable features that this new Mercedes R class offers are bi-xenon headlamps, steel spring suspension in front and AIRmatic (Adaptive Intelligent Ride control) system featuring self-levelling air suspension in the rear. It also features a leather-covered tilt and telescopic steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control and a choice of high gloss wood trims, command system with an in-dash six-disc CD/DVD changer, eight-inch screens for the rear passengers, a DVD player and wireless headphones etc.

This new Mercedes R class in India, is expected to be priced around Rs 60 lakhs.

This new sedan, Chevrolet Sail is expected to have much more features in it and the performance as well as the stylish look of this new car is going to be a major highlight of it.

This new sedan, Chevrolet Sail features a 1399 cc, 4 Cylinder in-line Petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 94 Bhp and a maximum torque of about 129 Nm. Any official details regarding the mileage and the top-speed of the vehicle is not yet released and also, currently there is no chance for it's diesel variant to reach here on the Indian roads.

Maruti Suzuki India are now all set to launch their new small car model, which is a Hatchback that belongs to the   ever growing A segment of the Indian automobile market. This new Hatchback, named as Maruti Cervo is expected to get launched as early as possible in this 2011.
